Nine Favorite Things
Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there—especially mine!
He’ll do just about anything for me. Truly, he jumps through hoops and barrels to support me. I mentioned this on Friday, but aside from my mom and my sister, he’s my best friend. I know I can call him anytime—whether I need groceries, someone to talk me through life, or just a good hug. He’s always there.
And let me tell you, no one gives better hugs than my dad. He knows exactly when I need one—even when I don’t think I do. There’s no one more special. I know I’m biased, but I really wouldn’t trade him for anything. I feel so lucky to be his daughter. He’s stuck with me for life!
I wish I could be with him today. He’s off visiting my grandpa with my mom and some of my siblings for the weekend. I’m counting down the days until I get to see him (and my mom too!). I think Mom and I will plan a little surprise for him—he’s tricky to shop for though! If you have fun Father’s Day gift ideas, send them my way!
Now for some updates! I came home from New York on Wednesday, and it was truly such a wonderful trip. I loved every single minute and can’t wait to share the story we shot there in just a few weeks—it’s a fun one!
When I left off last week, I was prepping for that shoot, which turned out amazing. I also wrapped up the trip with an event to support a friend, a podcast recording, and numerous meetings. Oh, and a few more delicious dinners, of course. Now I’m in Chicago for another photo and video shoot with our favorite meal delivery service, Home Chef. Lots of travel lately, but honestly, I’m loving every second of it. I feel really happy and excited about all the creative projects we have in the works. So many fun entertaining stories are coming your way!
The first one drops this week—eek, I can’t wait!
And today, I hope you’re able to celebrate your dad—or if you’re missing him, I hope you feel his love with you. He’s never far away. 💛
That’s all from me—things are good! Wishing you a beautiful Sunday. Enjoy this week’s Favorites post!

1. Things i’m loving, wanting, and excited to try.
loving…our summer tour! If you’ve not yet gotten tickets, get them here! I’m still smiling from our amazing night in Jersey—it was such a special night. We’re planning the upcoming stops to be even bigger and better. Up next is Dallas (note the time change), then Houston, and then off to Cleveland – so far, this is the biggest stop yet. I cannot wait!!
wanting…a fun Striped Headband. Perfect for the 4th of July—it’s coming up so fast! This one is so cute. I’m also loving this Crew Neck Sweater Vest —such a sweet, summery layer!
everything in my cart (low)…I’ve been eyeing all the summer pieces at Zara lately. For tops, this silk camisole is a favorite—so simple and chic! This is a really pretty Pointelle Knit Top, and this Stretch Ribbed Top for $16 is great. I’m going to be getting this Halter Top in multiple colors. So into halter tops for summer!
I think this Ramie Midi Slip Dress is the perfect dress for a warm night. I’d put it with these cute Low Heeled Leather Sandals.
If you need a basic black flip-flop, I’d get these Leather Sandals.
more of a Zara splurge, but this Suede Leather Skirt is a good pick too.
listening to…. Enjoyed the realness of this conversation.
dreaming of going to…Charleston! Our team member Margaret lives here and loves it. We visited here for my grandparents’ 50th anniversary, but it’s been too long. The Hotel Bennett was recommended by our amazing travel agent, Emily. It looks so pretty!
loving…this Convertible Picnic Table & Bench. Any dad would love this for the backyard. Maybe purchase and print out a pic as a last-minute Father’s Day gift?
travel….
wanting…a pretty Terracotta Red Velvet Stool. You can style this in so many ways!
everything in my cart (beauty)…the only makeup product I really ever apply myself is something for my lips, and always a good brow gel. For the lips, I love the Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick from YSL Beauty and have multiple shades. For brows, I’ve been using The Skinny Confidential Brow Peptide. It’s my favorite because it’s created with nutrient-rich peptides to promote thicker, fuller brows. Plus, it shapes and sculpts with all-day hold.
I want to try the Medik8 Advanced Night Ceramide, I’m always looking for a good moisturizer. A great, more affordable option I’ve tried is CeraVe.

summer travels…a few ideas! The Family Coppola Hideaways – fun and located all over (including Belize, Guatemala, Italy, and Argentina. Four Seasons Surf Club Miami – I’ve always wanted to stay here! Four Seasons Resort Nevis, West Indies – so pretty! I love the Bahamas, and I’d love to visit Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel in Tuscany. If you’re planning a trip to London, stay at the L’oscar London.

The photo shoots look fun! I hope you’ll do some videos or photos of your actual lifestyle, the place you live is BEAUTIFUL! The curated stuff is fun but your followers fell in love with the small town Midwest girl with the big family, I’m all about the relatable content.
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback, Darcy!! The photoshoot was definitely a blast! Thanks for reading today! Happy Sunday! xx
I love the quote this week! Have a great week T 😊
Hey Courtney,
Happy to share, glad you enjoyed:) Have a happy Sunday and thanks for reading! xT
Hi, my mom got me your cookbook for Christmas last year, so I’m a newer follower, but I’m confused. You don’t live in New York City? My mom got me your book because I’m new to the city and she thought I would enjoy something from an established local, and all your pictures are of you in NY? Anyway, no big deal, but it would be awesome to see your real life outside of NY! I am loving my first summer here! We are celebrating my dad with a new grill and a car detailing, which he loved! We also got him a new instant read thermometer for his smoker and some books on subjects he enjoys. I feel lucky because he’s easy to buy for!
Hi Betty,
Thanks so much for reading today! Nope, I am not from New York, I live in Colorado:) I do spend a good amount of time in New York for work though. Great ideas for your dad, who doesn’t love a new grill, right?! I hope you love the cookbooks. Happy Sunday! xx
