Adding this on Monday! I can’t believe I forgot to mention in my intro yesterday — our brand-new partnership with Drinks officially launched this weekend! We’ve been working for months to curate a beautiful collection of wines that we hope you’ll love. Now we finally have a collection of wines to pair with HBH recipes all season long — entertaining made easy!
You can read more in Favorite #5 below, or click the Shop HBH Holiday Wines tab on the HBH toolbar to explore the collection now!
Back to yesterday’s post…
Travel weeks are always so different from my weeks spent at home. I love them the most, though, because even though parts of traveling can be hard for me — and I definitely have to push through moments that feel uncomfortable or give me a lot of anxious energy — I always look back feeling so grateful I did. There’s something about stepping outside my comfort zone that always leaves me inspired in new ways.
I’m about halfway through this two-ish week stretch of travel and feeling so happy about everything that’s come together so far. New York was amazing — a little crazy, but so creatively fulfilling. I can’t wait to share more with you soon…you won’t have to wait long!
It’s been one of those trips with very little downtime, but that’s just New York energy! You land in the city and suddenly there’s this burst of inspiration and excitement that makes you want to keep going and creating nonstop. I love it so much.
To quickly recap — Monday was a whirlwind of meetings (thankfully some on the phone!) and organizing for a big two-day photoshoot. Tuesday and Wednesday were full shoot days, followed by events both nights. Tuesday night, I went to the Anniversary movie premiere to support a friend, did a quick red carpet, then headed back to the hotel to catch up on emails and change for dinner. We went to The Corner Store — always such a fun spot with great food!
Wednesday was similar — long but so exciting. We wrapped the shoot late, and I left absolutely exhausted but so happy to see my mood boards and vision come to life. I regrouped back at the hotel, changed, and went to dinner at Scarpetta NYC with a good friend. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The pastas were incredible! And while I was expecting a big slice of chocolate cake for dessert, the little mini version that came out was honestly so good. I can’t wait to go back and try more!
It was the perfect way to end the day. I always get a second wind of energy at night, so I’m writing this now from the plane — headed to Dallas, then LA for the first two Williams-Sonoma events. I’m so excited to officially kick off our fall and holiday events — we’re going to have so much fun!
Next Sunday it will be November, which is crazy! What are you all doing for Halloween this year? Is anyone having a chili dinner? That’s definitely my plan!
That’s all for today — wishing you the spookiest, most frightful Halloween weekend ahead!
1. Things I’m Loving.
cooking…Chili Cornbread Casserole. Love this recipe!
everything in my cart (low)…honestly, these are expensive for tights, but I do love these Wolford tights in soft cacao. The color is so pretty, and Wolford always has the best quality tights and undergarments. You could style this cute Lioness navy sweater over them for a cozy look.
I want to order this Half Zip Pullover in the color, twig combo. Super cute for layering right now.
listening to…
ordered…this insulated bakeware carrier for carrying holiday dishes from my kitchen to friends’ homes for dinner! This is the perfect carrier!
loving…this pretty lace top from Reformation is a great layering piece for holiday looks.
shopping…for mom! I desperately want to get her these brushed-cashmere mittens from Lisa Lang. She will love these!
wanting…a very pretty Ottoman. I love this rich Faux Mohair color! I think this would be so pretty in my house.
for Christmas…if you love a more classic vintage look, you might love this tree skirt I found on Lulu and Georgia! So pretty in all colors.
everything in my cart (beauty)…I really want to try the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. Not going to lie, I was sucked in by the name, but the product has the best reviews! The pumpkin enzymes provide exfoliation to smooth the skin’s surface. Chemical peels help reveal younger, radiant skin, and aluminum oxide crystals polish the skin’s surface to help improve the look of uneven texture.
wanting…. These shades are so pretty! Very into the fall colors. The spiced orange nails are cute for right now, just ahead of Halloween! I love the chestnut brown for November. So great for Thanksgiving! And then the deep red, the burgundy, and the forest green for December. The prettiest!
everything in my cart (high)…an incredible suede jacket I love the espresso shade.
This is the prettiest handmade cashmere cape. I love this piece, but I know my mom will love it too! This would be a really thoughtful Christmas gift for anyone. We all love cashmere! And this style is so chic!
following…Molly Kidd Studio. She has some cute interiors. Check out her kitchens if you prefer a more basic design. Very pretty.

Sharing just a tiny glimpse of what we’ve been working on below! I’m keeping most of it under wraps for now, but everything will be coming to the website so soon. I honestly can’t wait to share more with you all!

5. Excited to Share: DRINKS.
Our first-ever wine collection has officially arrived — just in time for the holiday entertaining season! I’m so happy to share these beautifully curated bottles and sets, perfect for festive dinner parties, cozy nights in with friends, or a quiet Friday evening by the fire with a side of cheese and crackers.
Every other week, I’ll be sharing a new recipe paired with one of the wines from our collection. Each pairing has been thoughtfully chosen by me, with help from the incredible sommeliers at DRINKS. I’m so excited to finally bring this feature to life. It’s something so many of you have been asking for!
For me, sharing delicious food and entertaining have always been about creating a warm, welcoming night for my guests. Now you can easily find my favorite clean wine collections to enjoy alongside your most-loved recipes.
Tap the Shop tab on the HBH toolbar to discover our first-ever collection of wines — perfect for easy, effortless entertaining this season!
6. Gingerbread Smash is BACK!

Currently burning our entire HBH x Snif candle collection!
All three candles are finally back in stock — including everyone’s favorite holiday scent, Gingerbread Smash!
This is the gingerbread candle to have burning this season. It smells like fresh gingerbread, spiced chai, and frothy vanilla all baked into one deliciously cozy scent. It’s that warm, home-for-the-holidays fragrance that makes your whole house smell like you’ve been baking all day (without ever turning on the oven).
And if you’re heading out the door to a dinner party, grab a candle for gifting — everyone loves a holiday candle, and these make the perfect hostess gift!
I’m curious — of all three candles, Pumpkin Smash, Apple Cider, and Gingerbread Smash — which one is your favorite?

Tieghan, I love that you keep your pics ‘real’. Loved the shoes but loved the slippers more. Just ordered your newest candle for myself and my two daughters and am very excited about your new wines. Thank you all the effort and detail you go to each week for us.
Aww, thanks so much, Marlie! This means so much to me:) I hope you love the new candle and wines! I appreciate your support and kind message. Happy Holidays!
Girl – I’m sure you paid so much for that photoshoot and the team forgot to remove their diet coke in the header image!! So sorry
Hi Tina,
That is just a teaser photo, I’m wearing slippers lol:) Can’t wait to share the final photos! Have a great week!
I saw that Amber Interiors posted on IG last week lots of photos/video of your studio renovation–looks very pretty! She showed us way more in just one post than you have in over a year since the project started! So when are you going to give us a tour and share all the details??
I promise it’s all coming:) Thanks for asking, Jamie!
Can you share some behind the scenes of your journey to learn more about wine? I know you’re not much of a drinker! Going from a hot water at dinner girl to an expert at wine pairings would be fascinating lifestyle content. Could have been exactly the type of thing you were looking for to break up the cooking content! What’s your favorite bottle at the moment?
Hey Gina! Yes of course!!! I will be sure to share everything with you all along the way. I am so excited to learn more and discover what I enjoy and what I love most with my recipes!! It will be fun!
Thank you!!
What’s your favorite wine to drink and how do you pair it?
Hey Milly! One of my favorite pairings is a beautiful red wine with a red meat like steak or pot roast. Simple but it’s always so nice together!!
Hope you are having a great week!
Hi Tieghan,
My favorite of your SNIF collab is the pumpkin smash! In future years, I would love to see a gingerbread smash hand cream or something. Fantastic idea to add additional items to the line, there is literally nothing cozier for fall than pumpkin smash!
So excited for these clean wines- have a great week!
Hey Heather,
Thank you so very much! Yes, I love this idea, I appreciate your feedback:) Hope you are having a cozy Sunday!
Curious about what makes the wine “clean.” Is it non-alcoholic? If it’s not, then it still contains carcinogens that are anti “clean” philosophy.
Hey Laraine!
I consider clean wine to be organically made with no added fillers and sugars. Just grapes and all organic practices/farming. It’s a tangled web honestly but trying to find you only the best wines!
I will share more details with each wine!
Have a great week!
Great post, amazing pictures! Have fun the next part of your travelling too. Xx
Thanks so much, Kelly-Jane! I appreciate you reading today. Have a great Sunday!
Happy Sunday, Tieghan! Great blog as usual! Those Ralph Lauren pumps are FABULOUS!
Thanks so much, Kerita!! Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
What is “clean wine”?
Hi Karen,
I consider clean wine to be organically made with no added fillers and sugars. Just grapes and all organic practices/farming. It’s a tangled web honestly but trying to find you only the best wines!
Thanks for taking the time to read! Hope you have a great week ahead!
I would love to try your wines to go with your wonderful recipes. Do you offer a discount code for first purchases?
Thank you.
Hey Sandy! This is a great idea. I am going to look into having a discount for you all! Thank you for bringing this up!
Have a great week!!
Tieghan, always enjoy your Sunday post. I thought your Thanksgiving Table looked gorgeous and I got a good laugh when I spotted the Diet Coke bottle. Look forward to more. Have a blessed week.
Thanks so much, Janie! Have a great week!
Wow, I’m surprised to see you’ll be doing a wine pairing! You’ve never seemed very passionate about wine, what training did you do to help your prepare? I’ve always wanted to be better at pairings but don’t know where to start!
Hey Gloria!
I am working with the DRINKS team to help understand and learn about all the wines. I have learned so much!! It’s been really fun! They have so many expert sommeliers on their team. I have loved learning! Especially how wine is made! They have been a great help!
Glad you are excited too! Thank you! Have a great week!
Love the slippers showing in the top pic/cover photo! That is so you!! ❤️
Lol thanks Alice! Always gotta be comfy when you can, right?! Thanks for reading today!
I have all the candles plus the Winter Wander! Love them all-they put out better scents than any other brand I’ve tried!
Hey Tracy,
That’s amazing! I am so glad you have been enjoying the candles! Thanks for your comment, have a great Sunday!
